Formed as the second generation of “Circle Lychee” in October 2023, and debuted in November. The concept of the group is “Eroticism”, expressing the instinct of human through their music and songs.

Verotica is a coined word by “Vero” (derived from “Bero” meaning tongue in Japanese), and “Erotica.”

Biography

In October 2023, formation of the group as one of the first three groups of Circle Lychee (numbered the second generation, because of the existence of the main group, Mercuro) was announced. They performed at some live concerts during pre-debut period in October, and then officially debuted on November 2nd in “Sabukaru Vol.Zero*1”.

*1 “Sabukaru” is the short term for “Subculture” in Japanese, sometimes including the nuance of underground culture or decadent atmosphere.

Verotica held their half-anniversary concert titled “Eroticism” at Shibuya WOMBLIVE (Tokyo) in May 2024.

In November 2024, the group held their 1st-anniversary concert “Veroticism,” a blend of Eroticism and Verotica, at O-WEST (TOKYO). In February 2025, they performed with backing band for the first time in the live concert at Ebisu LIQUIDROOM with their fellow group in same generation, Clara Magura.

Short Review

Among three groups of the second generation of Circle Lychee, the style theme of Verotica is “White” in contrast with Clara Magura’s “Black”, expressing erotic and clingy love called “Menhera.”

They built a career without any members to leave from debut to 1st-anniversary, steadily getting their performance skill higher.

Himesaki Noel has a neat and clean visual with black hair, which produces a charming mismatch between her and the concept of group. Though, she sometimes expresses mad love in her performance reminding us of the essence of Verotica.
Kaizou Ningen has the visual like a doll, while showing funky perfomance and acting quite freely on the stage. Her name Kaizou Ningen means an artificially remodeled human, and the first letter in Kanji, “改(Kai),” converted into “怪(Kai)” that means eerie like a monster.
Setsuna Amu has maybe the most beautiful and relaxed, stretching singing voice in Circle Lychee, leading the group by her singing.
Usa Pamye has powerful and edgy voice like a whiplash, which presents a beautiful contrast to Amu.
Fuyuu Haku has a cool face and a slender figure, while her sincere character makes her more fascinating.
Amagami Roa has a natural talent of idol, which makes us fall under the illusion as if we were watching the stage of a traditional kawaii-styled idol group.

Songs like “Honnou*2” or “Ai no wana*3” pursue the essence of eroticism. However, the expressions are never sexually vulgar but well balanced to build up an elegant and artistic presentation under the concept. Furthermore, their choreographies are composed of movements taking advantages of body line and flexibility unique to women. It was impressive that all members of Clara Magura agreed that the choreographies of Verotica are difficult to play because their using method of body parts are quite different from Clara Magura’s, when they performed Verotica‘s song as a special program.

On the other hand, they show dramatic expression filled with sparkle glitters in the performance of “Sayonara” or “Chou New World,” which is also an important element of the group. （Marumoto Minoru）

Kugutsu Shia from Galatia, which disbanded in March 2025, joined as a supporting member after the leave of Fuyuu Haku.
