Formed in 2022, they belong to imaginate's idol project HEROINES. They were formed when former member of Higeki no Heroine Syndrome, Yayoi Yamu, gathered members to resume group activities. Their concept is build up with dark gothic tones and religious motifs, and their heavy sound spans EDM and metal.
Biography
Following the disbandment of Higeki no Heroine Syndrome, Yayoi Yamu remained with imaginate and pursued a solo career. In order to start an idol group again, she launched an audition project titled "Kodou" (meaning "heartbeat" in Japanese). Miki Ray and Miyako Yuna were selected through the audition, and Otoha Rizu from BLK LiLiY joined them to debut as a four-person group.
On September 20, 2024, marking the second anniversary of their formation, they digitally released their first album, “Adam.” They promoted the album on their “MARIAGE” tour of Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka, performing new songs at each show and selling out the final show at Shibuya CLUB QUATTRO in Tokyo.
Short Review
Even among Higeki no Heroine Syndrome (Hiroshin) members, Yayoi Yamu stands out with her intensely gothic vibe. She's built the group around the essence of her favorite worldview. Their live shows feature a unique atmosphere with almost no fan calls or "MIX"es, which is rare in today's live-idol scene. Both HEROINES members and fans agree that their singing and dancing are the agency's best——and are blown away by how flawlessly the group handles complex songs.
Their songs blend metal/EDM sounds with religious motifs like Paradise Lost and Buddhist sutra chanting, creating a unique "AdamLilith" mythology. Tracks like the new "giving" from "Adam," plus "Mariage" and "Anti-Dystopia," challenge them with killer tunes that keep their gothic edge while adding more accessible, melodic parts for broader appeal.
